VSS-based plug-in for Windows Server 2008 Backup (WSB)

- This Exchange 2007 SP1 plug-in was announced by Scott Schnoll scheduled for a summer release during his “Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Tips & Tricks” session at Tech.Ed IT Pro US. This gives back the option of running online ESE streaming backup of Exchange with WSB under Windows Server 2008. In the meantime, your only options are third-party vendors that offer Exchange-aware VSS-based backup applications or those supporting ESE streaming backups on the Exchange server installed with a local backup agent.
