Delivered as part of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 RTM, the Remote Desktop Connection 7.0 client update is now separately available for machines running Windows Vista SP1/SP2 and Windows XP SP3.
With the new RDC/RDP client, you will have access to new exciting Remote Desktop Services features such as enhanced video playback, bidirectional audio, real multiple monitor support up to 16 monitor, Web Single Sign-On (SSO) and Web forms-based authentication that are introduced in Windows 7 and in Windows Server 2008 R2, while maintaining access to legacy terminal servers or to remote desktops as before.
